Farewell held for cop retiring after 36 years service

ISLAMABAD: Capital Cops on Friday held a farewell party to recognize 36 year long services of a colleague Syed Abid Hussain Shah, at his retirement. DIG Operations Waqar-ud-din Syed, while speaking at the occasion, paid rich tributes to office superintendent Syed Abid Hussain Shah for his long time dedication and commitment to the department.
According to details, a graceful ceremony of farewell was arranged in DIG Operations office to acknowledge the services rendered by Abid Hussain. DIG Operations Waqar-ud-din Syed was the chief guest at the occasion. The event was also attended by the DSP Legal Syed Azhar Hussain Shah, Administration officers Raja Riasat Ali and staff of DIG operation office.
DIG Operations, while addressing the event, said that Abid Hussain Shah had served in the department of police with dignity and honesty. He said today Abid Hussain Shah had retired from the service of police respectably. The DIG said that the senior citizens of the country were important members of the society and contribute to the well being of other citizens. The doors of the department, where Abid Hussain served for more than three decades were open for him and he would be extended assistance in the time of need. Abid Hussain Shah was given gifts by his colleagues in the police department to show their gratitude and respect.
