Karachi: Federal Minister for Science and Technology, Fawad Chaudhry, introduced an idea of making ‘smart cricket balls’ in Pakistan.
Taking notice of a tweet related to ‘Smart Cricket Ball’ being manufactured and introduced in 2019, Chaudhry shared his opinion and tweeted “Sialkot walas lets do that shouldn’t be a problem, let’s do a joint project with Technology Universities and create own smart cricket ball”
It must be noted here that Sialkot is one of the finest sports hubs across the world. The city is known for producing high-quality sports equipment.
Remember, ‘Smart Cricket Ball’ has a chip inside it that collects data from inside the ball that is being bowled. The chip throws all data and information to a tablet or laptop connected to it.
The chip can currently measure the speed and revolutions of the ball at different stages of its journey from the hand of a bowler. The ‘Smart Cricket Ball’ is currently under testing process.– Agencies
