Sialkot: Sialkot Sadar police have registered a case against Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) leader Firdous Ashiq Awan for allegedly slapping a policeman deputed at a polling station.
A video went viral on social media showing the IPP leader thrashing and roughing up a policeman appointed at Government High School Gana Kalan of Sialkot.
According to the police, Firdous Ashiq Awan had slapped a policeman in Sialkot on Thursday – an election day.
A case has been registered against Firdous Ashiq Awan for slapping a policeman by Sadar Sialkot police on the complaint of ASI Amjad. According to the FIR, a police official was on election duty at Government High School Gana Kalan in Sialkot NA 70 when Firdous Ashiq Awan misbehaved with the policeman and slapped him.–Agencies
