ISLAMABAD: The National Highways and Motorway Police has made fire extinguishers mandatory for vehicles using motorways, with action set to begin after June 24 against those found without one.
According to NHMP, the rule applies particularly to passenger and cargo vehicles as part of enhanced road safety measures aimed at preventing fire-related incidents. Motorists have been advised to keep a functional fire extinguisher in their vehicles to avoid penalties and ensure safer travel on motorways. –PR
