ISLAMABAD: On the instructions of SP Industrial Area Zubair Ahmed Sheikh to initiate crackdown against the use of fireworks on the occasion of independence day, SHO Mian Khurram along with team have arrested three accused named as Aqib S/O M Niwaz R/O Pindora Rawalpindi, Muhammad Kashif S/O Khial Badshah R/O Ghori Town Islamabad and Saleem S/O Ghulam Yasin R/O Sangum Markit i/8 Islamabad. Huge quantity of firecrackers have been recovered to be used on 14th August.FIR has been registered and further investigation is underway.DIG Operations has appreciated the performance of SP Industrial Area and his team and passed instructions to continue this action against illegal fireworks.
Similarly, as par directions of worthy IGP Islamabad on the occasion of 14th august in continuation of crackdown against illegal fire works by ICT Police, Adeel Shoukat SI along with team of Sabzi Mandi police have arrested two persons from I 10 Markaz & recovered huge quantity of fire crackers. FIR lodged and further legal proceedings in process. It is important to mention that similar was done by Industrial area Police yesterday and recovered fire crackers in huge quantity.
