Five including two POs held, valuables & arms recovered

ISLAMABAD: Capital Cops’ CIA, on Sunday, arrested five, involved in incidents of dacoity and house burglary, while recovering gold ornaments, valuables and weapons from their possession.
According to details, DIG Operations Waqar-ud-Din Syed directed all zonal officers to ensure crackdown against criminals and accelerate their efforts to curb crime in the city. Thus, following these directives, SP Investigation Syed Mustafa Tanveer constituted a special team under the supervision of DSP CIA Hakim Khan including SI Tariq Rauf, ASIs Fawad Khalid, Zulfqar Ali, Aamir Hayat, Mohisn Ali, Irfanullah, along with other officials, which successfully arrested five accused including tow POs.
The accused were later identified as Aslam, resident of District Okara, Ghulam Mustafa resident of district Okara, Noman Naseem resident of resident or Tarmary; Islamabad, Muhammad Akram resident of District Sargodha, and Imatiz Khan resident of sector F-11/1 Islamabad. Gold ornaments, wrist watches, mobile phones, valuables and weapons were also recovered from their possession.
Moreover, during preliminary investigation, the accused have confessed of their involvement in incidents of burglaries at various parts of the twin cities. Separate cases have been registered against the accused at PS Shalimar, PS Industrial-Area, PS Koral and PS Karachi Company while further investigation is underway.
Meanwhile, Capital Cops had caught four outlaws arrested including three bike lifters, this Saturday, while recovering two stolen bikes and heroin from the accused. DIG Operations Waqar-ud-Din Syed has appreciated the overall performance while directing all police officials to ensure effective policing measures in their respective areas.
