PESHAWAR: Four flights were cancelled, and 18 others delayed across Pakistan due to airline operational issues, according to aviation officials.
The disruptions have affected both domestic and international routes.
Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) cancelled two Karachi to Quetta flights, while two international flights from Sharjah to Quetta were also cancelled. Officials did not provide details on the cause of the cancellations.
Several other flights were delayed, including private airlines’ Karachi to Lahore and Karachi to Islamabad routes, as well as PIA’s Karachi to Lahore service. Delays ranged from 90 minutes to nearly two hours. A Karachi to Sukkur PIA flight was delayed by 90 minutes, while the departure of a Multan to Jeddah flight was delayed by 1 hour and 45 minutes.
