ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital Police’s Robbery and Dacoity unit (RDU) has arrested a wanted member of a former jailbird drug smuggler gang involved in supplying drugs to posh sectors/societies of Islamabad and recovered 150 grams ice, 28 grams of weed, 45 narcotic pills, 14 grams of crushed narcotic pills and 40 packing boxes from his possession.
Following the special directions of Islamabad Capital City Police officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city.
Following these directions, a robbery and dacoity unit (RDU) Police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehended a wanted member of a drug smuggler gang involved in supplying drugs to posh sectors/societies of Islamabad and recovered 150 grams ice, 28 grams of weed, 45 narcotic pills, 14 grams of crushed narcotic pills and 40 packing boxes from his possession
The accused were identified as Muhammad Kamran. Case has been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
