In the emerging fashion industry of 90s, she played a crucial part and paved way for the models and designers to come. Despite her short height and chubby body type, Aaminah rose to fame due to her talent and struggle.
Renowned model and actress, Aaminah Haq disappeared from the limelight after her 2009 marriage with fashion designer Ammar Belal.
Lately a video went viral on social media where a fellow supermodel Amna Ilyas is body shaming Aaminah Haq, while jibing over her weight. The video from a TV talk show shows Amna Ilyas hinting at Aaminah Haq’s apparent weight gain during a ‘Guess The Celeb’ segment.
In response to this this body shaming video Aaminah gave a positive reply saying, if body shaming me brought some happiness and joy in her life then it’s not a big deal. Further Aaminah mentioned that unhappy people tend to gravitate towards hate instead of kindness and compassion. Aaminah Haq did not spread any hate after being body shamed by the fellow model.
