ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital Police Sihala police station and Homicide Unit police teams have arrested three accused involved in a triple murder case and recovered murder tool from their possession.
According to details, on March 22,2024, the Sihala police station received an application from a citizen who stated that, i’m a resident of Pir Sohawa Islamabad, the accused Zulqarnain Pervaiz, Farhan Gulfam, Bilal Mustafa, and Umair Iqbal opened fire on Zubair Iqbal, Ghulam Mustafa, Pervez, Umair Iqbal , Bilal Mustafa, Gulfam, Yasir Arfat, Adeel Gul and Sidra Bibi from which Zubair Iqbal, Ghulam Mustafa and Pervez succumbed to their injuries and died in the hospital.
Upon receiving the application, the Sihala police team registered an FIR no. 56/24.Following this incident a special investigation team was constituted.
The police teams utilized all available resources and used technical and scientific methods and arrested four accused, namely Bilal Mustafa, Zulqarnain Pervez, Farhan Gulfam and Umair Iqbal, while further investigation is underway.
