Four busted, arms & valuables recovered

ISLAMABAD: PS Aabpara team has arrested four wanted members of a snatcher gang involved in numerous snatching activities and recovered snatched mobile phones, weapons with ammunition and motorbike used in crime from their possession. Following the special directions of Islamabad Capital City Police officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad Capital Police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city.
Following these directions, the Aabpara police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending four wanted members of a snatcher gang involved in numerous snatching activities in sector G-7, Faisal Mosque, Express Highway and surrounding areas of the city. The accused were identified as Akbar, Noman, Nazara Khan and Ahmed Iftikhar. Police team also recovered mobile phones, weapons with ammunition and motorbike from their possession.
Cases were already registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway. During preliminary investigation the accused confessed to being involved in numerous snatching activities in the jurisdiction of Aabpara police station.
