ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital Police Sabzi Mandi police teams arrested four wanted members of snatcher and thief gangs involved in numerous snatching activities and recovered snatched cash, mobile phones, motorbike and weapons used in crime from their possession.
Following the special directions of DIG Operations Islamabad Syed Shahzad Nadeem Bukhari, the Islamabad Capital Police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city.
Following these directions, the Sabzi Mandi police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending four wanted members of two snatcher and thief gangs involved in numerous snatching and theft activities. The accused were identified as Akbar, Younas, Munwar and Akbar.
Police team also recovered snatched cash, mobile phones, motorbike and weapons used in crime from their possession. Cases have been registered against the accused and further investigation is underway.
