Fraudsters put behind bars for looting simpletons

ISLAMABAD: Capital Cops’ PS Shalimar Police, in a bid to tighten noose around anti-social elements, handcuffed two members of a criminal gang, involved in looting simpletons, and later put behind bars.
According to details, a special team was constituted by DIG Operations Waqar-ud-Din Syed, after certain incidents of cash snatching was reported by the Capitaliites outside banks, on the pretext of helping them by counting their amount. Thus, SP Saddar Sarfraz Ahmed Virk constituted a police team under the supervision of ASP Shalimar Rana Abdul Wahab including SHO Shalimar, SI Sulman Shah, ASI Haider Ali Shah and others.
The given team worked hard and succeeded in busting two accused who were later identified as Ali Zahir Zada and Saeed Zahir Zada, both residents of house#7, street 21, Sawan Gardens, Islamabad, and recovered snatched cash from their possession. Moreover, during preliminary investigation, the accused confessed of committing such acts at various parts of Islamabad and others districts. Their physical remand has also been obtained from the concerned court after registration of a case against them while further investigation is underway.
DIG Operations Waqar-ud-Din Syed, on the other hand, has appreciated this performance and directed all police officials to ensure effective policing measures in their respective areas.
