ISLAMABAD: Funeral prayer of Islamabad capital police Constable Ghulam Murtaza was offered at Police Lines Headquarters. SP Headquarters Saood Khan, SP Supreme Court Raja Tahir, other senior police officers and a large number of police officials offered the funeral prayer. Late police officer was admitted to the Pakistan institute of medical sciences hospital due to Kidney and lung disease but he could not survive and was reunited with his real Creator.
A smartly turned-out contingent of the police personnel presented a guard of honour. Police officer shouldered the coffin and later the body was sent to his respective native town in district Faisalabad.
IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan condoled with the family of the deceased and assured the grieved family of full support from the department and his family would be taken care of. Constable Ghulam Murtaza left behind two daughters and one son.
