Gang busted, 3 caught, 11 stolen motorbikes, valuables recovered

ISLAMABAD: PS Koral team apprehended three wanted members of a bike lifter and house burglary gang involved in numerous bike lifting and house burglary activities and recovered 11 motorcycles and valuables from their possession.
Following the special directions of IGPIslamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, Islamabad Police had started a crackdown against criminal elements involved in bike lifting and house burglary activities in order to save the precious lives and property of citizens.
Following these directives, the Koral police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending three accused involved in numerous bike lifting and house burglary activities.
The police team also recovered 11 stolen motorcycles and valuables from their possession. The accused were identified as Aftab, Saad and Sajid. Cases have already been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
During the preliminary investigation, the accused confessed to being involved in numerous bike lifting and house burglary incidents in the jurisdiction of Islamabad.
DIG Islamabad appreciated the police team’s efforts and directed all senior officials for an effective crackdown against the accused involved in car and bike lifting incidents. The performance of police officials in this regard would be reviewed on a continuous basis, he added.
