ISLAMABAD: Kohsar police have arrested two active members of a dacoit gang involved in looting people on gun point and recovered 20 mobile phone and weapons from their possession.
A team of officials of Police Station Kohsar traced the gangsters while using modern technology and scientific methods of investigation. The detainees were identified as Aamir Saleem and Ahsan Saleem and recovered 20 mobile phones, and weapons were also recovered from their possession. During preliminary investigation, the accused have confessed their involvement in numerous incidents of looting people in areas of City and Saddar Zones while these gangsters also confessed 15 incidents of looting people in areas Lahore. Separate cases have been registered against the accused and further investigation is underway. Action was taken on the directions of SP City Zone Rana Abdul Wahab under the supervision of ASP Madam Amna Baig.
DIG Operations Afzaal Ahmed Kousar has appreciated the performance of the Police team and directed all police officials to ensure effective policing measures in their respective areas.
Two street criminals held, 20 cell phones, arms recovered
ISLAMABAD: Cops arrested two accused involved in more than 100 incidents of street crimes, recovered snatched mobile phones, arms and ammunition from their possession. He said that the Islamabad Police taking notice of surge in street crimes conducted operation during which two real brothers Aamir Saleem and Ahsan Saleem were apprehended. The police also recovered 20 snatched mobile phones, arms and ammunition from possession of the detainees also wanted by Lahore police in 15 cases.
