Gohar dispels rumours of forward bloc in PTI

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Barrister Gohar Ali says there is no forward bloc in the party.
All the party is united and will continue to display unity,” he said at the press conference in the capital.
He added out of 41 MNAs, the affidavits of 25 MNAs have been submitted before the Election Commission of Pakistan as per the direction of the apex court.
Gohar highlighted that a PTI MNA has been abducted after the decision of the Supreme Court which showed no regards for the law and constitution by the powers that be. On the latest incident, he condemned the arrest of Sanam Javed.
Earlier, Barrister Gohar has stated that the Supreme Court’s decision has silenced those who were predicting a ban on the PTI, reported a Private News Outlet. Speaking to a media franchise, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali said that the party had no intention of forming a government in coalition with the People’s Party. “This option was also available to us on February 09,” he added.
“We will act as a strong opposition party,” he asserted. Barrister Gohar also mentioned that the party had not yet made any decision regarding the no-confidence motion.
“The option of talks is still open,” he added. The Supreme Court of Pakistan, in a significant legal victory for the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), on Friday overturned the denial of reserved seats to the PTI. Justice Mansoor Ali Shah announced the 8-5 split verdict on a petition filed by the Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC), an ally of the PTI. –Agencies
