Gold prices continue with uptick trend

KARACHI: The gold prices Thursday continued to see a surge as the yellow metal saw a big increase in the international market.
In the international market, the price of one ounce of gold increased by $31 and was being traded for $1955.
According to the All Pakistan Jewellers Association, the price of 24-Karat gold reached Rs207200 per tola after seeing an increase of Rs2200.
Similarly, the price for 10 grams of 24-Karat gold reached Rs177,641 after seeing an increase of Rs1887.
The price of 22-Karat gold, used in making the jewellery, reached Rs189,868 per tola after seeing an increase of Rs2016.
The price of 10 grams of 22-Karat gold reached Rs162,837 after seeing an increase of Rs1729.
The prices of silver in the country also saw an increase as the 24-Karat silver was being traded for Rs2300 per tola and Rs1971.88 per 10 grams after seeing an increase of Rs50 and Rs42.88, respectively.
Similarly, the price for 10 grams of 24-Karat gold reached Rs177,641 after seeing an increase of Rs1887.
