Govt cuts petrol price

ISLAMABAD: The Finance Ministry has announced a revision in the prices of petroleum products from June 1, according to which the price of petrol has been reduced by Rs 7.6 per liter.
According to the announcement, the price of kerosene has been reduced by Rs 11.88 and the price of light diesel was reduced by Rs 9.37 per liter. The new price of kerosene was fixed at Rs 35.56 per liter while the price of diesel was fixed at Rs 80.15 per liter after an increase of 5 paise. The new price of petrol has been fixed at Rs 74.52 per liter and the new price of light diesel oil at Rs 38.14 per liter. The new prices of petroleum products will be applicable from 12 noon tonight.
