ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz on Friday has said that Punjab government should provide handkerchief to the participants of opposition’s Gujranwala rally so that they can hide their faces. While addressing the Senate session, the minister said that those joining Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) are actually protecting their corruption. All the corrupt leaders have gathered against Prime Minister Imran Khan, he added. He said he had challenged the opposition parties to fill the Jinnah Stadium Gujranwala and they stand exposed now by converting half of the stadium into a stage.
Shibli Faraz said the opposition parties which ruled the country over the last forty and fifty years systematically destroyed the institutions. Opposition parties will fail in their own designs, he stated. The minister assured that the good days are ahead as the country is being taken towards the path of development.
Earlier today, Shibli Faraz said that the government is well aware of the problems of the masses and discussions are being made to control inflation and provision of houses to low income group. The people are suffering high inflation due to massive corruption and money laundering made by the leaders of Opposition parties, he stated. To a question, the minister said that PML-N leaders, who had fled the country to avoid corruption and money laundering cases, should return the money of this country.
