Hafeez wary of death overs bowling

Karachi: Veteran Mohammad Hafeez has emphasized that his side Lahore Qalandars has to learn from mistakes they did in Eliminator one against Peshawar Zalmi in order to do perform better collectively in the second eliminator today.
Qalandars are scheduled to play against Multan Sultans at National Stadium. The winner will lock horns against Karachi Kings on November 17 in the final of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season five.
“I believe our death bowling needs improvement because today and even in the group stage, we didn’t bowl good last four to five overs,” Hafeez said.
“Our fielding, our batting in the powerplay can improve more but as a team, we played a good game today and will look to continue the same against Sultans,” he added.
It must be noted here that Qalandars beat Zalmi in the first Eliminator by five wickets courtesy of a brilliant knock by professor Hafeez, scoring unbeaten 46-ball 74. – Agencies
