Multan: Haider Ali and Zeeshan Malik’s explosive batting have powered Northern to 242-3 in 20 overs against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the first match of the National T20 Cup at Multan Cricket Stadium.
The 19-year-old Haider and 23-year-old Zeeshan partnered for 180. Haider scored 90 off 51 balls whereas Zeeshan made 77 off 47 balls. Junaid Khan was the pick of the bowlers for KP, picking 2-44 in four overs.
The partnership between Haider and Zeeshan is the highest second-wicket partnership in the history of the tournament’s history.
