RAWALPINDI: The Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi (HAR) has undertaken a series of measures to enhance the beauty and facilities of Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan Park on Sir Syed Street.
Managing Director HAR Ahmed Hassan Ranjha that work to plant seasonal flowers and restore grass in the park is progressing at pace, with the addition of colourful flowerbeds improving the overall ambience and making the site more attractive for visitors. He said attention was also being given to repairing walking tracks, installing modern benches and strengthening cleanliness arrangements to ensure a more comfortable environment for the public.
Ranjha said providing quality recreational facilities remained the organisation’s top priority. He added that similar initiatives would continue across the city to promote greener urban spaces. He also urged citizens to cooperate in maintaining cleanliness and protecting plants, noting that the agency was committed to improving green areas to provide a healthier and more pleasant environment for residents.
