ISLAMABAD: SSP Investigation Muhammad Arsalan Shahzaib chaired a meeting with Homicide Investigation Unit (HIU) officers to evaluate their performance. The meeting was attended by Homicide Unit (HIU) officers.
During the meeting, SSP Investigation reviewed ongoing investigations and issued strict instructions to address any deficiencies.
He directed officers to expedite all pending arrests, ensure investigations are conducted on merit, and collect airtight evidence to facilitate the effective prosecution of accused.
He emphasized that, the prevention of murder cases and bringing culprits to justice is paramount.
Ensure the swift arrest of absconders, conduct investigations with integrity, and present well-prepared charge sheets backed by solid evidence to guarantee severe punishment for the accused, he added.
SSP Investigation also warned that negligence in performing duties would not be tolerated, reiterating the Islamabad Police commitment to prioritizing the safety and security of citizens’ lives and property.
He directed officers to fulfill their responsibilities with the utmost professionalism and diligence, ensuring justice for victims and maintaining public trust in the police force.
