ISLAMABAD: On the special directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi the Islamabad Police continue their indiscriminate crackdown against criminal elements and those involved in burglaries across the federal capital.
As part of this ongoing campaign, the Bani Gala police conducted a successful operation and arrested two key gang members of a notorious burglar gang. The accused were identified as Tasaduq Hussain and Tahir Saleem.
Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq stated that all legal formalities will be fulfilled to ensure the culprits receive exemplary punishment. He emphasized that Islamabad Police are taking every possible measure to protect the lives and property of citizens and will not allow any criminal elements to disturb public peace. He further urged the public to cooperate with the police and immediately report any suspicious activity or objects to the nearest police station or via the emergency helpline “Pucar-15”.
