RAWALPINDI: A woman gunned her husband over desire to enter into second marriage here on Tuesday and escaped the scene.
According to details, Zulfiqar 50, hailing from Misriot area of Rawalpindi wanted to enter into second marriage against the desires of his first wife Robeena.
Annoyed over the aspiration of husband, Robeena gunned down Zulfiqar by shooting him in neck with 12 bore pistol while she was sleeping in room of his house.
The culprit fled the scene after committing murder of her husband.
CCPO Umer Saeed Malik taking notice of the incident has directed police to immediate arrest the accused.
The police registered a case against the murderer and started raids to arrest her. –Agencies
