Karachi: Pacer Hasan Ali has revealed that he used to cry after getting injured multiple times and said her wife Samiya Arzoo supported her most of the time in those tough moments.
“When I got injured again, luckily my wife was with me and she supported me a lot. My brother Ata was also with me during my injury but mainly Samiya backed me,” he said in an interview with Zainab Abbas on her YouTube channel.
“Once I was crying and she came to me with words of motivation. She guided me to stay committed and work hard,” he added.
It must be noted that the 26-year-old was injured after the conclusion of the group stage of Pakistan Super League (PSL) season five in March last year.
He made a comeback in Quaid-e-Azam Trophy (QeA) and led his side Central Punjab to the final of the competition.
He was named the player of the tournament with 43 wickets to his credit, the most by any fast bowler in the tournament, and 273 runs, including a century in the final and two half-centuries.
