Lahore: The international cricket council (ICC) has announced the match officials for the Rawalpindi Test between Pakistan and Bangladesh starting from February 7-11.
The former West Indies captain Richie Richardson will serve as a match referee. On-field umpires include Nigel Llong and Chris Gaffaney, Marais Erasmus as TV umpire and Shozab Raza as the fourth umpire.
Gaffaney and Erasmus will tour Pakistan for the very first time in their umpiring career whereas Nigel Llong is returning to Pakistan after a decade. He last stood as an on-field umpire in Pakistan between Pakistan and Sri Lanka in January 2009 during the ODI series.
It must be noted that the second match of the Test series will be played after the Pakistan Super League (PSL) along with one-off ODI.
