ISLAMABAD: According to details, the Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan has issued an important message to the citizens of Islamabad during the blessed month of Ramadan.
In his message, he stated that officers and personnel of Islamabad Capital Police assigned to traffic, security, public safety, and checkpoint duties are fulfilling their duties.
The job of these personnel is to protect the lives and property of citizens, make the city safe, and maintain peace and public order.
He further said that, citizens should cooperate with officers and personnel of the police during the checking process, avoid impatience at traffic signals to ensure their own and others’ safety.
Citizens are requested to demoralize the professional beggars and inform Islamabad Capital Police about those involved in this heinous act, and donate their charity only to the needy.
In conclusion of his message, he said that good behavior of citizens on the roads, cooperation with officers and personnel of Islamabad Capital Police, and discouragement of social evils will prove helpful in making Islamabad a better and safer city.
At the end, he expressed hope that citizens will continue to cooperate with Islamabad Capital Police in the future as well.
