BEIJING: Changchun Ice and Snow New World, a 1.38 million-square-meter amusement park, began its official run on Saturday in Changchun, capital of Northeast China’s Jilin province.
More than 460,000 cubic meters of ice and snow were used for the construction of nine areas in the park.
In the park, tourists can enjoy 142 ice and snow buildings and creations, including colorful ice towers, ancient castles and snow sculptures. The park, combining different elements of Chinese and Western styles, will provide an engrossing world to tourists that come to the city in winter. –PNP
