ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Sunday issued a power suspension programme for Monday in various areas of its region due to necessary maintenance and routine development work.
According to an IESCO spokesperson, the power supply from the Islamabad Circle will remain suspended from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m in Khana Dak, Khana East, Khana-II/Qadeer road, Al Noor Colony, Shareefabad, Ghouri Garden feeders.
In the GSO Circle, the electricity supply will remain suspended from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in areas served by the Azad Pattan feeder. Similarly, from 08:00 am to 04:00 pm, 132KV New Wah to POF along with related earth switch, from 08:00 am to 06:00 pm, 132-KV Chakwal- Bhagwal- Talagang, 132KV Kahuta City- Palandri, 132KV New Wah-Bahtermore along with related earth switch and surrounding areas will remain closed.
The IESCO management apologized to its esteemed customers for the power outage. If the work is completed ahead of time, the power supply can be restored even before the scheduled time, it said. –Agencies
