IGP arranges special iftar for police personnel

ISLAMABAD: On the directions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, a special Iftar arrangement was made for police officers and personnel at Police Lines Headquarters Islamabad during the holy month of Ramadan.
On this occasion, the IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi along with other senior police officers, broke the fast with officers and personnel. Special prayers were also offered for the martyrs of the police force.
IGP Islamabad stated that every officer and official of Islamabad Police is committed to the discharge of their duties.


He appreciated the role of each member of the force in fulfilling their responsibilities.
Encouraging the officers and personnel, he said that he takes pride in the professionalism, bravery, and integrity of Islamabad Police officers and officials.
He directed all officers to continue performing their duties professionally during the sacred month of Ramadan and to carry on their responsibilities with dedication and enthusiasm. He added that the purpose of arranging the Iftar dinner was to boost the morale of police personnel who remain committed at all times to ensuring the protection of citizens lives and property.
Later, IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi visited police officers deployed on security duties outside masjids during Fajr prayers.
He personally reviewed the security arrangements at masjids and imambargahs, appreciated the alert officers on duty, and issued instructions to continue performing their responsibilities in the best possible manner.
