IGP chairs zoom meeting with all SHOs

ISLAMABAD: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, chaired a Zoom meeting with all Station House Officers (SHOs). During the meeting, he issued directives for special security arrangements on Chand Raat across all commercial centers, markets, shopping malls, and parking areas in Islamabad.
More than 3,000 officers of Islamabad Police will be deployed for Eid prayers and throughout the three-day celebrations. All officers will ensure the security of mosques and Imambargahs during Eid prayers.
Additionally, timely security arrangements will be made at all parks and recreational sites. On-ly families will be allowed entry into public parks.
A strict crackdown will be launched against hooliganism and one-wheeling, with legal action taken against violators. Furthermore, there will be a firm crackdown on aerial firing and unruly behavior in residential areas on Chand Raat.
IGP Islamabad instructed all SHOs to take proactive steps to provide maximum facilitation to citizens. Islamabad Police is fully committed to ensuring the safety and security of residents during Eid-Ul-Fitr.
He also urged citizens to cooperate with the police in maintaining peace and order.
