IGP commends cops for dedicated services

ISLAMABAD: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Captain (Retd.) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry met with retiring DSP Muhammad Iqbal Ahmed and appreciated his long, dedicated and valuable service to the police department. He acknowledged his professionalism, commitment to duty and contributions to Islamabad Police, and extended his best wishes for a happy and prosperous life after retirement.
Continuing the initiative to encourage and recognize professional excellence, the IGP Islamabad also awarded appreciation certificates to officers and officials from various divisions of Islamabad Police in recognition of their outstanding performance, dedication, diligence and commitment to public service.
IGP Islamabad Captain (Retd.) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry said that the department highly values the sincere efforts and dedicated services of its officers and officials. He emphasized that officers should continue performing their duties with diligence, professionalism and devotion, while making public service and citizens’ facilitation their foremost priorities.
He further stated that the encouragement and recognition of outstanding performance would continue to promote dedication and excellence within the department.
Later, a dignified farewell ceremony was held for retiring DSP Muhammad Iqbal Ahmed at the office of SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza. On the occasion, SSP Operations Islamabad appreciated DSP Muhammad Iqbal Ahmed’s long and commendable service to the department, presented him with gifts and extended his best wishes for a healthy, peaceful and prosperous life after retirement.
