ISLAMABAD: IGP Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, chaired a high-level meeting at the Central Police Office (CPO), Islamabad. The meeting was attended by DG Safe City Muhammad Haroon Joya, DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq, DIG Security Muhammad Atiq Tahir, DIG Headquarters Malik Jamil Zafar, and AIG Establishment Shoaib Masood.
Under the leadership of the IGP Islamabad, Islamabad Police remains fully committed to serving the public. In this regard, Islamabad Police has declared the year 2026 as the “Year of Public Service Delivery.”
On this occasion, the IGP Islamabad stated that timely and impartial justice will be provided to every citizen. Through dignified and courteous conduct, a transparent system, and modern policing, Islamabad Police aims to further strengthen public trust.
He further stated that, for the convenience of citizens, all Islamabad Police offices and police stations will remain open 24 hours a day. Transparent inquiries and investigations based strictly on merit will be ensured for every complaint and application.
IGP Islamabad said that courteous, professional, and helpful police staff will be available at police stations to serve citizens, while public issues will be heard promptly and immediate solutions will be provided.
He added that, to save time and resources, reconciliation committee offices are active in every zone, where minor disputes are resolved peacefully, promptly, and amicably. Islamabad Police considers public trust its greatest strength and is fully determined to further raise the standards of service, protection, and justice.
