IGP directs SHOs to strengthen security, patrol late hours

ISLAMABAD: IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi held an important meeting with SHOs from all police stations of Islamabad. On the occasion all SHOs were present.
Issuing instructions, the IGP Islamabad said all SHOs should make public service their top priority, conduct late-night patrolling in their areas, and utilize their personnel in an organized manner for security, investigation, and patrolling so that police presence is clearly visible within police station jurisdictions.

IGP Islamabad further instructed that all officers must manage the administrative affairs of police stations in a professional manner, while ensuring that police response during emergencies is immediate and effective.
He directed all SHOs to take strict legal action against land grabbers, drug dealers, aerial firing, and the display of weapons, and to ensure the arrest of proclaimed offenders and absconders.
He emphasized adopting an effective strategy for crime prevention.
Issuing clear directives, he said all officers must play a key role in the welfare of their subordinates and perform their duties with complete coordination.
Protecting the lives and property of citizens and maintaining peace in the federal capital is the top priority of Islamabad Police, and no negligence in this regard will be tolerated.
