IGP holds Open Court

ISLAMABAD: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, held an open court at the Central Police Office Islamabad under the open-door policy.
During the open court, the IGP Islamabad listened to the problems of citizens and police officers and issued on-the-spot instructions to the concerned officers for their resolution.
While giving directions to the officers, he stated that the merit-based and prompt resolution of citizens’ problems is our foremost priority. Any citizen facing an issue related to the police can attend the open court and my doors are always open to the public.


Acting on the complaints of the citizens, the IGP Islamabad issued orders to the concerned officers to resolve the applications on merit within the specified timeframe and send a report to the Central Police Office.


He directed all SDPOs and SHOs to adhere strictly to their designated office hours, meet with the public during these times, and resolve their issues promptly and on merit.
The IGP Islamabad further stated that Islamabad Police is taking various steps for the facilitation of citizens. Holding open courts on a daily basis is helping to resolve issues on a priority basis.
