IGP honours officers for crime prevention, public service

ISLAMABAD: A dignified ceremony was held at the Central Police Office Islamabad, where IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi awarded commendation certificates to police officers who exhibited extraordinary professionalism, dedication, enthusiasm, and integrity in the line of duty.

The ceremony was attended by senior police officers and personnel. On this occasion, the IGP Islamabad appreciated the performance of the officers and personnel and stated that every member of Islamabad Police remains committed at all times to safeguarding the lives and property of citizens.
He emphasized that professionalism, transparency, and a public-friendly approach are among the top priorities of the police department. He further stated that the officers and personnel who demonstrated remarkable performance through crime prevention, public service, timely action, and effective investigation are indeed the pride of the department.
He added that encouraging such officers not only enhances individual performance but also boosts the morale of the entire institution. He further highlighted that Islamabad Police is actively pursuing modern policing practices, strengthening public engagement, and implementing effective strategies to curb crime.
He stressed that maintaining law and order is not possible without the cooperation of citizens, therefore, a safe and peaceful society can only be achieved through mutual collaboration between the public and the police. At the conclusion of the ceremony, the officers and personnel thanked the IGP Islamabad and reaffirmed their commitment to continue performing their professional responsibilities with the same dedication and zeal in serving and protecting the citizens in the future.
