He remarked that security duties at masjids and imambargahs are of paramount importance during the holy month of Ramadan. He directed all senior officers to be present in the field themselves and emphasized that all necessities for Sehri and Iftar should be provided to personnel on duties.
He further said that, despite the harsh weather, these officers stand alert for the protection of public life and property. All officers should perform their duties as an act of worship. Because of you citizens can worship in peace and sleep soundly. Negligence in security duties at masjids and imambargahs will not be tolerated, he added.
Furthermore, he expressed my officers are away from their families standing alert day and night to ensure public safety. Every one of my officers is like my own family and it is my responsibility to care for them.
He also added that, i am proud of my officers who are away from their loved ones fulfilling their duty during Sehri and Iftar. I will always stand by them. Every officer of Islamabad Police is present in the field right now and this is our primary duty and our form of worship.
