ISLAMABAD: IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, held several important meetings at the Central Police Office Islamabad regarding security and the operational performance of the police force.
The meetings were attended by DIG Headquarters, DG Safe City/DIG Traffic, AIG Special Branch, AIG General, SSP Security, SSP Operations, Chief Traffic Officer Islamabad, SP Security/Operations, SP Dolphin, and AD Development & Planning. During the meetings, a comprehensive strategy was discussed to further enhance public safety, operational performance, and security measures in Islamabad. Important instructions were issued to improve the security situation in the federal capital, enhance intelligence coordination, and strengthen safety arrangements.
Furthermore, a detailed review of traffic management improvements, effective implementation of traffic laws, and new reforms and measures for public convenience was conducted.
A comprehensive strategy was also devised to ensure a safe, organized, and smooth traffic system in the capital.
Additionally, progress was reviewed on projects related to the welfare of the public and the well-being of police officers, and strategies for better performance through the efficient use of resources were developed.
The final review of the Dolphin force uniform and approval of its design in line with modern standards were also conducted.
IGP Islamabad stated that the Islamabad Police is utilizing modern technology for crime prevention and effective surveillance throughout the city. By integrating intelligence and technology, the police are ensuring the safety of the city and further enhancing the patrol and checking system.
He further mentioned that providing the best facilities to the citizens of Islamabad is the top priority of the Islamabad Police.
He also issued instructions for the provision of high construction standards, excellent facilities, and a better working environment for officers and personnel.
