ISLAMABAD: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, visited the home of Islamabad Police’s martyred ASI Sudheer Ahmed Abbasi to meet his family. He met with the children of the martyr and inquired about their well-being. He listened to the issues faced by the martyr’s family and assured them that their concerns would be addressed.
On this occasion, the IGP Islamabad paid tributeb to the martyrs, saying that martyrs are the true heroes of the nation whose great sacrifices can never be forgotten. It is due to the sacrifices of these martyrs that citizens can sleep peacefully.
He further stated that officers of Islamabad Police have laid down their lives in the line of duty. Islamabad Police has never forgotten the sacrifices of its martyrs — not even for a moment. Living nations never forget the sacrifices of their martyrs. The brave sons of Islamabad Police who gave their lives for the peace of the country are a source of great pride.
IGP Islamabad said that Islamabad Police will continue to take every possible measure for the welfare of the families of the martyrs and will provide full support at every level.
Islamabad Police will also ensure education b other necessary facilities for the children of the martyrs. He added that the families of all the martyrs of Islamabad Police are like his own family. The doors of his office are always open to them.
Earlier, following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, senior officers of Islamabad Police also visited the homes of the martyrs. They met with the families and children of the martyred police officers, presented them with gifts, listened to their concerns, and assured them of their resolution.
