ISLAMABAD: IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, met a representative delegation of the trader community led by trader leader Ajmal Khan Baloch at the Central Police Office Islamabad.
The meeting discussed security measures for markets and business centers, traffic arrangements, encroachments and illegal stalls, mutual cooperation between the police and the trader community, as well as several other matters.
On this occasion, the IGP Islamabad assured the delegation of effective joint measures regarding the security of commercial areas, traffic management, illegal parking, and other related issues.
To further improve field monitoring of market security, he assigned a special task to SP Dolphin Khalid Mahmood. IGP Islamabad stated that the Islamabad Police is utilizing all available resources to maintain peace and order in the federal capital and to ensure the protection of citizens’ lives and property. No elements will be allowed to disturb the peace of the city. The delegation appreciated the tireless efforts and hard work of Islamabad Police in maintaining law and order and assured full cooperation with the police in security and other important matters.
