ISLAMABAD: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, chaired an important meeting at the Central Police Office (CPO) Islamabad to ensure timely resolution of citizens’ issues based on merit and transparency.
The meeting was attended by AIG Investigation & Complaints/Operations Syed Inayat Ali Shah. During this meeting, the IGP Islamabad reviewed the performance report of the Complaint Management System and issued directions for effective action on citizens’ complaints and resolving issues on a priority basis through open courts.
IGP Islamabad also issued orders to innovate the complaint system and provide more effective and better services to citizens. He emphasized that complaints registration should be made easier, and their timely resolution should be ensured.
He further stated that Islamabad Police is utilizing all available resources to fulfill legal requirements and provide citizens with the best and quickest possible justice. Maintaining law and order in the federal capital Islamabad and ensuring the safety of citizens’ lives and property is one of the Islamabad Police’s top priorities.
