IGP reviews complaint system, orders effective public service

ISLAMABAD: IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, held an important meeting at the Central Police Office to discuss the timely and transparent resolution of citizens’ issues based on merit.
The meeting was attended by AIG Investigation/ Complaints Inayat Ali Shah and other senior officers.
During this meeting, the IGP Islamabad reviewed the performance report of the complaint management system, issued instructions for effective action on citizens’ complaints, and emphasized resolving issues through open forums on a priority basis.
IGP Islamabad further directed that innovation be introduced in the complaint system to provide better services to citizens, making it easier for them to file complaints and ensuring their timely resolution.
He added that Islamabad Police is utilizing all resources to provide the best and swift justice to citizens, while fulfilling all legal requirements.
Additionally, the IGP Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi also held an open court at the Central Police Office, where he listened to the concerns of both citizens and police officers.
On the spot, he issued directives to relevant officers to address all issues in accordance with the principles of transparency, justice, and prompt action.
He emphasized that the immediate and effective resolution of citizens’ issues is the top priority.
IGP Islamabad urged all officers to promote community-friendly policing, maintain a close watch on the law and order situation across the city, and make the police force more effective as a public service organization.
