IGP reviews institutional, welfare initiatives

ISLAMABAD: Inspector General of Police Islamabad/Managing Director National Police Foundation Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi chaired an important meeting. The meeting was attended by DIG Headquarters Malik Jameel Zafar, AIG Logistics Abdul Haq Umrani, AIG Legal and senior officers of the NPF.
IGP Islamabad/MD NPF reviewed in detail the ongoing and proposed projects aimed at further strengthening institutional collaboration and improving the welfare of the police force. On this occasion, he issued directives to all officers, emphasizing that transparency, quality, and timely completion of development projects must be ensured so that maximum facilities can be provided to police officials and their families.
Furthermore, various proposals were considered to enhance investor confidence, effectively advance new welfare and residential projects, and improve the overall performance of the institution.
IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi also held an important meeting with the Member Engineering CDA and DG Works.
During the meeting, a detailed review of ongoing construction projects at police stations and other locations of Islamabad Police was carried out. Emphasis was laid on ensuring the pace, quality, and timely completion of these projects so that better facilities can be provided to police officers and citizens.
IGP Islamabad directed officers to maintain high standards in all development works and to complete projects within the stipulated timelines. Later, the IGP Islamabad met with Inspector Muhammad Afzal, who retired from Islamabad Police, at his office. He paid tribute to the retired inspector’s long departmental service, professional competence, integrity, and presented him with an honorary police shield.
On this occasion, he further stated that such officers are valuable assets to the institution, as they set high standards of dedication and public service throughout their careers.
