IGP reviews law & order situation

ISLAMABAD: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, held an important meeting at the Central Police Office Islamabad. The meeting was attended by DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq, AIG Logistics Abdul Haque Umrani, SSPs, CTO Islamabad, and SPs.
During the meeting, the IGP Islamabad reviewed in detail the law and order situation, security arrangements, crime control efforts, and the traffic system.
On this occasion, he issued instructions to all officers, stating that maintaining law and order in the federal capital must be ensured at all costs.
Strict checking should be implemented at all entry and exit points of the city, and close monitoring of suspicious individuals must be maintained.
IGP Islamabad also issued orders to senior police officers for the prevention of crime and crackdown on criminal elements. He emphasized that all officers must play their full role in making the city crime-free.
Effective patrolling must be ensured to prevent criminal activities. Arrests of court absconders and proclaimed offenders must also be ensured.
He further instructed the CTO Islamabad to maintain smooth traffic flow in the city, provide maximum facilities to citizens during rush hours, and take strong legal action against those who disrupt traffic.
He added that protecting the lives, property, and honor of the citizens of the federal capital, and ensuring the provision of full facilities to them, is the top priority of Islamabad Police.
