ISLAMABAD: IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi chaired a meeting with AIG General Syed Inayat Ali Shah and the AD Development & Planning. During the meeting, the IGP Islamabad was given a detailed briefing regarding the ongoing and proposed construction and development projects of Islamabad Police. Matters related to the progress of various projects, construction standards, utilization of funds, and timely completion were discussed in detail.
While reviewing the projects, the IGP Islamabad directed the concerned officers to ensure that all development projects are completed within the stipulated time frame and that high standards and transparency are maintained in all construction work. He expressed his commitment to modernizing the infrastructure of Islamabad Police in order to provide improved facilities for both police officers and citizens.
Furthermore, IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi also held a meeting with SSP CTD Saud Khan. During the meeting, he conducted a detailed review of the overall security situation in the federal capital, counterterrorism measures, security arrangements at sensitive locations, and ongoing operations.
IGP Islamabad directed the SSP CTD to further intensify and enhance operations against criminal elements and individuals involved in disturbing public peace. He emphasized that the protection of citizens’ lives and property must be ensured at all costs and that all available resources should be utilized to further strengthen the security system.
Later, the IGP Islamabad visited the H-11 Police Facilitation Center, where he met with citizens and reviewed in detail the facilities being provided at the center. On this occasion, citizens also shared their feedback regarding the services being offered.
IGP Islamabad directed the concerned officers to further improve the quality of services for the convenience and facilitation of citizens, so that timely, transparent, and efficient services could be ensured for the public. He stressed that Police Facilitation Centers should continue to play a prominent role in promoting a public-friendly approach and providing modern facilities.
IGP Islamabad also visited the canteen established at the Central Police Office. He reviewed the quality of facilities being provided, cleanliness, and overall arrangements at the canteen. On this occasion, he directed the concerned staff to further improve the standard of facilities.
He stated that the provision of quality facilities should be ensured on a priority basis not only for citizens visiting the open court and Police Facilitation Center, but also for police officers and officials.
