IGP reviews policing affairs

ISLAMABAD: IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi held an important meeting with DIG Headquarters Muhammad Jawad Tariq, AIG Logistics Muhammad Usman Tariq Butt, and SSP Investigation Sulaiman Zafar. The meeting reviewed the administrative and operational affairs of Islamabad Police, logistics support, utilization of available resources, and manpower-related matters.
During the meeting, the officers briefed the IGP Islamabad on the performance of their respective departments, ongoing initiatives, and progress on various assigned tasks. Matters concerning police requirements, logistics facilities, manpower availability, and strengthening operational capacity were also discussed in detail.
IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi emphasized the need for further improvement in administrative systems, effective utilization of available resources, and focused attention on manpower-related matters. He directed the officers to assess the requirements of the force and take practical measures to further strengthen its operational capabilities.
IGP Islamabad directed the officers to perform their assigned responsibilities with professionalism and ensure effective coordination in handling all administrative and operational matters. He stressed that efficient resource management and a strong administrative system play an important role in improving the overall quality of policing.
IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi reaffirmed that Islamabad Police will continue to strengthen its administrative, operational, logistics, and human-resource systems in line with modern policing requirements to enhance the force’s capabilities and ensure better and quality police services for citizens.
