IGP reviews security measures

ISLAMABAD: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi held an important meeting at the Central Police Office Islamabad regarding the law and order situation and administrative affairs of the police force at the Central Police Office Islamabad.
The meeting was attended by DIG Headquarters Muhammad Haroon Joya and DIG Security Syed Ali Raza. During the meeting, IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi reviewed the security situation of the federal capital, the administrative affairs of the police force, and the measures taken for the protection of sensitive installations and important locations.
He issued instructions to further enhance security at the entry and exit points of the Red Zone and Diplomatic area, reconfigure VIP security protocols, and improve surveillance systems through the use of modern technology. IGP Islamabad also directed that intelligence sharing, coordination, and the emergency response mechanism be made more active. He further emphasized that comprehensive steps be taken to improve the professional training of the police force, enhance the capacity of personnel and make effective use of available resources.
