ISLAMABAD: IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, visited various areas of the city to assess the security arrangements made for Taraweeh congregations in the federal capital.
During the visit, he inspected the deployment and security measures at worship areas and other important locations.
On this occasion, he also met with the officers and personnel performing their duties and appreciated their performance and dedication.
IGP Islamabad stated that during the holy month of Ramadan, comprehensive and effective security arrangements have been made to provide a safe environment for citizens attending Taraweeh prayers. Police officers and personnel have been deployed at worship places and other sensitive locations across Islamabad to maintain law and order.
He further directed the officers and personnel to carry out their duties with alertness, responsibility, and professionalism, and to ensure the protection of life and property of citizens at all times.
IGP Islamabad added that Islamabad Police is taking all possible measures to ensure the safety of citizens and maintain a peaceful environment, while all available resources are being utilized for this purpose.
